This chasen is a real piece of art and a signature chasen by the 25th generation chasen-maker Yasaburo Tanimura from Takayama, Nara Prefecture. It is made in shin (“true”) style of whisk that does not have curled tips. Henon bamboo from Kinki region is used, and transformed during the six year period into this gorgeous whisk. To embelish the matcha making process and add to it an extra flair. Its string is made of a kaleidoscope of 7 colors, and left uncut forming a seducing tail.
